Every two to three days, I fed three bins of worms 8 oz of food. On long weekends, I fed the worms 12 oz. Each bin has a different source of food: apples, bananas, and carrots.
I predict that the carrots will decompose faster than bananas and apples. I think this will happen because the carrots are grated whereas the apples are cut in chunks and the banana peels are ripped. I think that they would take shorter time to decompose because they take less time to grow.
Growing Time
Carrots take 21/2 - 31/2 months to grow.
Bananas plants take 2 - 4 months to produce fruit.
Apples take 3 to 4 years for the tree to grow. It takes 2-4 months for the apple to grow.
