Project Title: MagLev Demo
Project Abstract: This science project is to demonstrate that less energy is used or needed when friction is reduced. My hypothesis is that reducing friction will reduce energy consumption. The model demonstrates here is similar to the to the concept of the MAGLEV trains, which are being worked on in Germany, Japan and France. This experiment demonstrates how to apply principle of magnitisim to lift the train from running on the track. When friction was reduced, the train can travel faster and further using the same amount of energy (force).
