Method 1:
1. Choose a video game that none of your volounteers are familiar with.
2. Have your volunteer play the game 5 times to get the hang of it.
3. Have your first volunteer play the video game 5 times to get the hang of it.
4. Take a short break and the have the volunteers play the game 5 times. Average the scores of the second 5 games and record the average.
5. Give the volunteer the cell phone then go to another room and call them. Stay on the phone until the volunteer has played 5 more games. Make sure your volunteer is actually talking on the phone and not just saying "uh-huh".
6. Have a helper record the scores of those 5 games and then average them.
7. Repeat steps 2 through 6 with the other volunteers.
