Object Test

1. Collect six volunteers, three females and three males from the age groups below.

2. Arrange your variety of small objects and set them up. Make sure you don't let your volunteer see!

3. Get one volunteer at a time and show him/her the objects for exactly 2 minutes.

4. Then remove the objects and give the volunteer a pencil and a piece of paper.

5. Tell him/her to make a list of what they saw and write it down on the piece of paper.

6. Collect their responses and make notes of how many items each person remembered.

7. Repeat steps 2-6 for each volunteer you have, from the age groups below:
6-7 (gr.1)
9-11 (gr.5)
12-14 (gr.8)

Number Test
1. Write down ten numbers that you are testing your number list should look something like this:

9 - Level 1
94 - Level 2
947 - Level 3
9478 - Level 4
94782 - Level 5
947823 - Level 6
9478231 - Level 7
94782315 - Level 8
947823156 - Level 9
9478231561 - Level 10

2. Collect your volunteer like you did for your object test, and it can be the same ones you used for the first test. Make sure you don't let them see the numbers you are testing.

3. Get one volunteer at a time, and tell them to repeat the numbers after you.

4. Start by saying aloud the numnbers, starting from "Level 1" and proceed on, with your volunteer repeating them. When they get one wrong, that's the level they got to.

5. Record the results, like which category of age groups they were in, and whether they were a girl or boy.
