Analysis PROBLEMS/ SOLUTIONS PROBLEMS: When I was timing my dog, I was only using the minutes hand and not the seconds hand. SOLUTIONS: I stared using the seconds hand on the watch. PROBLEMS: When I put the food down and rang the bell, I was not
having my dog start in the same spot in the house. SOLUTIONS: every day I started putting him by the washing machine before I got the food and rang the bell. PROBLEMS: When I started the experiment, often the dog would not
come. I just wrote a big number instead
of waiting for him. SOLUTIONS: The dog learned after awhile and when he started to come
I did not have to just write a big number, PROBLEMS: I only tested one dog. SOLUTIONS: Next time I will test 20 different kinds of dogs and dogs of different ages. PROBLEMS: At the beginning I was not ringing the bell at the same
time for my dog. SOLUTION: Later I started doing the experiment at the same time
everyday. DID I TEACH MY DOG TO COME WHEN I
RANG A BELL? I did teach my dog to come when
I rang a bell because I rang the bell for one week without food and he came. COULD I TEACH EVERY DOG IN THE
WORLD USING THIS SAME METHOD? I think I can teach every dog
because they are smart and they like to eat.
I of course am not sure, but I think I could. WHAT CAN I DO WITH MY DOG NOW THAT
HE HAS LEARNED THIS TRICK? WHY IS THIS
VALUABLE? I could teach my dog different
tricks so he can know other stuff and have fun with him. |
