What I Did:
1. In the plastic mixing bowl, I combined small amounts of water and cornstarch together to form a mixture that looks like heavy whipping cream and has the consistency of honey. The approximate ratio of the cornstarch-water mixture was 1-1/4 cups of cornstarch to 1 cup of water.
2. After making the mixture, I gently laid my hand on the surface of the cornstarch-water mixture. I move my hand through the mixture, slowly first and then tried to move it really fast.
3. I tried grabbing a handful of the mixture and pulling my hand out quickly. Then I tried again, this time relaxing my hand and pulling it out slowly
4. I tried punching the cornstarch-water mixture. I hit the substance hard first and then pulled my fist back quickly.
