The Problem

On farms in Canada, a large portion of money goes toward fuel. The farm vehicles that farmers utilize, use large amounts of diesel fuel costing the farmers. Though diesel fuel has small amounts of emissions that lead to global warming, it has high amounts of emissions that lead to acid rain, smog and poor health.

This Science Fair project will look at a possible way for the farmers to reduce input costs, reduce their dependancy on fossil fuels and reduce the gases and toxins emitted into the atmosphere.
