The youngest
monkey and one of the most active is
Zach also known as Swinger as he was the first monkey to start the trend of
Granda which involves swinging back and forth on just one branch. However now swinger rarely swings just going
back and forth he now has changed to swinging around the monkey’s whole
territory. Zach will swing for most
of the day and also spends a fair
amount of time gathering food. When she sleeps Zach finds a place where no people can see him. All the monkeys except Zach sit hook sitting, but Zach
usually sits butterfly style. Zach has also
been known to annoy other monkeys for fun. Such as getting close to Granda
while she is eating and then running away when she chases him. Zach is named
Zach because at first I thought that Zach was a boy. Then I interviewed the
owner of the reserve and learned that Zach is actually a girl. There is a small
cave near the fence where no people are able to see the monkeys and Zach has
been known to hide under the cave if people come near.
