Dictionary

 

Diurnal – Active during the day.

 

Arboreal – An animal that mostly stays in trees.

 

Prehensile – the ability to use (easily for swimming, climbing, eating, and hanging) like an arm or leg.

 

Primate – An intelligent group of species that includes apes, chimpanzees, orangotangs, and humans.

 

Coati – A badger type animal that leaves near spider monkeys and they compete for food.

 

Captivity – Fed and bred in an environment by humans.

 

Reserve – An area that is “reserved” for natural habitats and cutting down trees their and living there is prohibited.

Exotic - originally from another area.

Native - naturally from a given area, like a Douglas Fir tree being native to Oregon, USA.
