1.Place a sheet of paper on each tray and place each of the following on the paper: cardboard, apple slice, bread, and three green leaves. Place the tray near a window that gets plenty of sunlight.
2.Place each of the following in Ziploc bags: cardboard, apple slice, bread, and three green leaves. Place Ziploc bags of items on the same tray as in step 1.
3.Place a sheet of paper on the second tray and place each of the following on the paper: cardboard, apple slice, bread, and three green leaves. Place the tray of items in the cardboard box and cover with lid.
4.Place each of the following in Ziploc bags of items on the same tray as in step 3.
5.Check the decomposition of objects by measuring the size every 2 days for 28 days (4 weeks).
6.Record your results.
