HELP

These are some things that are being or can be done to help the loggerhead shrikes survive. First, many groups and programs are helping the loggerhead shrikes like the Watershed Stewardship and Nature Saskatchewan's Shrubs for Shrikes program. Second, people are saving fields and pastures for wildlife. Ranchers can see that there are enough grass lands and brush left that do not have too much livestock. Third, farmers could keep cattle away from nest sites by fencing. Bird watchers should also make sure to stay well back from nests. People should protect treed farmyards no one lives in rather than destroying the trees. We should plant trees and shrubs for the shrikes to hunt in. Finally, people should learn about shrikes and share what they know with others.
