The Rainforest is a very thick, warm, and wet forest. Rainforests are very important for the earth. The plants in the rainforest give out 20% of the earth's oxygen, and some of the plants can be used to make drugs that fight diseases.

Unfortunately, the rainforest is being destroyed very fast. A part of the rainforest the size of a football field is being destroyed every second.
