           Virtual science fair!

On this site you will find some interesting facts and safety tips on how to handle dry ice. Please ensure that you or anyone else do not attempt the "explosion". Because it can be very dangerous and may harm your eardrums. If you follow along through the whole web site you will find out who discovered dry ice, and much much more.

Here we did 3 experiments on dry ice.

1: We put lots of water into a glace container with out the lid on and some dry ice and watched the result. (See results on video page)

2: We did an "explosion". We used a 500 ml sized water bottle and put about and inch of water with some dry ice into the water bottle. (see results on video page)

3: Our final experiment was the "singing spoon", we warmed up a spoon and placed it on a piece of dry ice and then it made some weird sound. More like screeching.

*We (Morgan and Carlisle) got all of our pictures from Google images and the ones that look like they where make on paint they where by Carlisle, no where else.
