Based on many discoveries and research on how stars are born scientists can look at nebulas and make predictions on what will happen to them. Here are a few predictions.
This is just a basic globule of gas that will probably form a big star.
Globule A is actualy two globules attracted to each other by their gravity. These Globules will form into very big stars. Globules B and C will form into stars like our sun.
A
C
B
Bok's Globule
Thackery's Globules
This huge globule will form not one massive star but alot of sun-like stars. Since these stars will be so close together there gravity will attract each other and star custer will form.
Keyhole Nebula
In a zoomed in shot of the dumbell nebula we can see tiny globules of gas collecting together. Soon these globules will form stars and since they are so close they will likely for a star cluster
Dumbell Nebula
A zoomed in shot of the helix nebula we can see tiny globules of gas collecting together like in the Dumbell. The tails that the globules have is the result of the extreme radiation being produced the white dwarf in the center of this nebula. These globules will each form there own stars and might create a star cluster.
Helix Nebula
This famous shot of the eagle nebula shows three pillars of gas where stars are forming. The pillars are nicknamed 'Pillars of Creation'. These pillars will eventualy form many stars and since they will be so close they will form a star cluster.
A small globule in the eagle nebula will basicly form just one star.
