Causes:
Stress, excitement, having too much caffeine (we've all had that experience...), having just too much sugar in general, coming back from an insane night, and you are just too hyped to lay in bed, or you have to finish a project for work or school.
Those are some of the most likely causes of sleep deprivation. Sleep deprivation is a horrible thing (you can learn that from 'What is sleep deprivation') and is easily corrected. All you need to do, is get some sleep, and at the end of the day, YOU WON'T BE SLEEP DEPRIVED!
But it's not that easy. Your body has already gotten used to the 'new you' of not sleeping. It has already made it's own sleeping pattern.
To change your sleeping pattern, it's actually quite simple. Try to go to sleep earlier. To help you sleep earlier, you can
1. Take a bath with lavender (lavender is VERY relaxing)
2. Drink some tea with absolutely NO caffeine
3. Do something until your body HAS to go to sleep,
and If you are EXTREMELY desperate, take some sleeping pills. But if you do this, you must be old enough, and you CANNOT take more then what they tell you to take. If you take more, it will inject too many hormones into your body, and you will either end up in the hospital, or dead.
