The cabomba plant is very useful in ponds and aquariums, it releases oxygen into the tank (more than other plants), it also provides food because it is not very fibrous so there for makes it easier to digest.
The Cabomba plant can grow up to several metres and is easily cloned once it has reached about 15 cm, cut it in half and replant it. Make sure you don't overcrowd the tank because that can be fatal to your fish. (known from previous experiences)
If you go on vacation don't worry about getting someone to feed your fish just chuck in some cabomba and away you go!!!
