Behavior

The Anaconda is a solitary creature and stays in its own hunting area. It changes its hunting place with the onset of the rainy seasons. The Anaconda can be in courtship for several months. During this time the female in breeding condition gives off pheromones, a chemical scent, that is tracked by males that are near. Anacondas are viviparous, and can have anywhere up to 20-100 babies at a time.
