As a sustainable grocery market, Capers is an excellent example of green design.

in 2002, Capers won the prestigious B.C. Ethics in Action
Award for "Community Care" in the category of large businesses. The Ethics in Action
Awards recognize businesses whose actions and decisions have made a positive
impact on their communities.
 

Eco-efficient toilets and faucets reduced the annual water usage at Capers-
Robson by about 190,000 litres.



Through recycling, Capers-Robson keeps 138 tonnes of waste away from the landfill every
