The purpose of this project is to find out if a natural resource (water) can create electricity and if it was a bigger scale, would it create more electric energy.

 

 Our group consists of four grade 8 students, Tyawna, Stephanie, Railey, and Hailey. We are doing an experimental science project. We have learned a lot about renewable energy throughout this project.

 

We have built a dam that creates electric energy. The Project has influenced the way we treat power and we have tried to become more energy efficient. This project should also influence others to do the same.

Cayley School has a Youth Environmental

Stewardship program to educate  the students on being environmentally friendly. With this in mind we added a link to our webpage on the environmental effects concerning dams.
