Introduction

Think of a world without cell phones, radios, televisions, wireless internet, or remote controls. That world would be very different from our world today. We use these technologies everyday to talk to our friends and family, get news from around the world and entertain ourselves. Without those inventions, we would be hard pressed to complete our daily routine, but how do all of these wonderful technologies work? The answer to this question is Radio waves and Wi-Fi. There are literally billions of radio waves flying around the world right now. They are invisible to the naked eye but they are used by many simple and many complex devices.
