How a hovercraft works

A fan of propeller sucks air into the hovercraft skirt which makes the skirt inflate which then pushes the air into the plenum chamber (air chamber) that creates pressure which makes the hovercraft float.

Uses of Hovercrafts

Hovercrafts are sometimes used for search and rescue missions.  They can also be used for pleasure rides and ATVs (All terrain vehicles).
