because coal is a mineral.

- How is it possible for coal to travel to my house and it light up?

- I think coal is found at a coal mine then a system of transportation is
used to take it down to a generator/generation system that burns it to
make electricity then it goes through wires to a transformer then to my
home then it will light up.

- After the electrical current is done being put into a lower voltage it
travels through one more transmission line, then to my home.
