   The suppleness of your muscles and the flexibility of your joints is not only important for gymnasts or athletes wanting to improve in their sport, but also for everybody every day, young and old. There are several different exercises you can do to become more flexible and maintain a higher level of flexibility. There are simple stretches called static stretches and more complex ones called PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) stretches.
