Very Colourful Painted Turtle

Problem:

The painted turtle is on the blue list. Humans have a lot to do with painted turtles becoming endangered. Humans are unaware of nests, so, without knowing it, they trample their nests and then the painted turtles have nowhere to live. A lot of humans capture painted turtles and since the painted turtles aren't supposed to be taken from the wild, the painted turtles can’t survive because they are not eating the right foods.

Painted turtles are very colourful animals. They have many colours such as red, black, yellow, olive and brown. That’s why it’s strange that cars run over the turtles when the turtles are crossing. If you’re in a car and you may be near a painted turtle habitat, then you should turn on the car’s high beams.

Don’t let painted turtles become instinct. They are already endangered. Help the painted turtles’ population increase!
