Ozone Eaters

The things you think is safe to the atmosphere usually aren't. Gases used in refridgerators, some hair sprays, and foam packagings all contain a chemical call chlorofluorocarbons (CFC). CFC is secure at ground level, but aren't in the atmosphere. Once the CFCs reached the stratosphere it stays there for hundreds of years. Finally they break down into chemicals by ultraviolet rays from the sun. One of these chemicals is chlorine, which destroys the ozone layer.
