Snowflake Observations

The grade one students chose exactly the right day for observing snowflakes.

Equipment needed:

Dark colored construction paper that had been frozen in the freezer over night.

Handheld magnifying glasses.

Procedure:

All grade one students went out onto the playground and waited patiently while large snowflakes landed on their construction paper.
