The purpose of this project is to determine if regular exercise has a effect on the amount of air your lungs can take in. In the experiment, people will blow into a balloon and then the diameter of the balloon will be measured. The results will be compared and the final result will be determined. In this project, I found out that there is a noticeable difference in the lung capacity of a person that exercises compared to someone who does almost no exercise. The results supported my hypothesis because I predicted that people who exercised regularly would be able to take in more air than someone who does almost no exercise.
