METHOD


1. Set up the kite string track, put a straw through the string.Tie it around stationary objects.
2. Cut 1 circle in each index card. The first card cut a 0.6 cm diameter hole. The second card, cut a 1.2 cm diameter hole. Then cut a 1.9 cm diameter hole in the third card.
3. Blow up a balloon. It should be 68 centimeters wide. (Use kite string to measure. Mark where 68 cm is on the string with a pen and curl it around the balloon.)
4. Get a helper to get tape ready. Hold the balloon under the straw, and the helper puts the index card on the nozzle of the balloon, and tape to attatch the balloon to the straw. Let it fly! Measure the length it traveled.
5. Repeat step 4, but put a medium sized index card on the nozzle.
6. Repeat step 4 and put the biggest index card on the nozzle. RECORD YOUR RESULTS.
