Title: Vision vs. Color
Objective: To find out if the color of your eyes changes your eyesight.
Hypothesis: I think that there are more people with blue eyes who wear glasses than people with brown, hazel or green eyes. So, I think that the color of your eyes may affect your eyesight.
Materials: ~ Paper
~Calculator
~ 151 students in grade eight
~ Enclyclopedia
~Internet
Variables
Independant- the variables of vision vs. glasses project would be the surveys from the students, and the students in grade 8.
Dependant- the dependant for this project would be the percentages of the eye colors and the students with glasses.
Controle- the control in this project would be the amount of the people in the world, the calculator and the Encyclopedia.
Procedure:
1) Send out a survey to all the grade eights in my school asking them what color eyes they have, if they wear glasses or not and if they are a girl or a boy.
2) I will collect all the surveys, read them all and mark down on a piece of paper their answers.
3) I will multiply the percentage of my answered surveys to the population of the students in my school.
4) I will make percentages of the information the final percentages (after multipling) gave me.
5) And voila, my project is done.
