The Problem

There are many endangered species in the world but have you ever wondered why they're endangered? I have. I chose the Piping Plover and researched it. What I really wanted to know about though, was Global Warming. So a question grew in my mind, will Global Warming affect the Piping Plovers life?

Global Warming

Piping Plover

What is it? Global Warming is the heat on Earth's surface temperature rising. It's caused by burning too many Fossil Fuels and the Greenhouse Effect. Fossil Fuels are the remains of once-living organisms that are burned to make energy. Some exaples are: Coal, Oil, and Natural Gas.

What is it?The Piping Plover is an endangered shorebird in The Great Plains, The Great Lakes, and along the Atlantic Coast. It's Habitat is any sandy or gravely beaches. This is where it makes its nests and lays its eggs. It eats Worms, Fly larvae, Beetles, Crustaceans and Molluscs.
