Test subject 1-
Thinks that UFO’s exist: Yes,
Why: subject thinks it is possible that other intelligent life forms are capable of existence on other planets.
Believes/doesn’t believe: The subject started to believe in aliens thanks to reports on area 51.
Test subject 2-
Thinks that UFO’s exist: Yes,
Why: subject believes that their have been so many sightings that have been so descriptive that it couldn’t all be fake.
Believes/doesn’t believe: The subject said that in the middle of the night, strange lights where viewed outside.
Test subject 3-
Thinks that UFO’s exist: no,
Why: because we would have tangible evidence,
Believes/doesn’t believe: the closest galaxy is hundreds of light years away
Now that the subjects have revealed what they think of UFO’s, their “why” and what made them believe or not believe will be explained.
Test subject 1-
There are a whole bunch of planets and it would be crazy that not one out of those probably infinite numbers of planets have intelligent life forms. Test subject brings up a good up, the closest galaxy is hundreds of light years away, what king of intelligent life would travel so far to “abduct” or study earth if survived long enough? It is possible that there is intelligent life somewhere on another planet, but UFO’s are highly unlikely.

Roswell, New Mexico 1947 (Area 51). There are t-shirts, documentaries, newspaper columns, books and even video games based on this alleged event. Alien crash site or government cover-up, many can talk for hours and hours about such a thing, but although many reliable sources, many questions are still unasked I’ll start with one, if there is no such thing as a UFO, what does the government have to say about it?
Area 51 is an airbase that has been filled with tales of alien saucers, and alien beings. Although many aircrafts are different and could be referred to as an alien craft, it is crazy that someone would actually believe that the government has alien hostages in the middle of the dessert and is keeping this away from the public. I wonder if putting up air force bases in the middle of nowhere are always this difficult. The fact is there is no proof, just a bunch of crazy stories with no sense of realism whatsoever.

Test subject 2-
Although there have been many sightings, there are also unreliable witnesses. People could have been walking down the street and in the back of their eye there was a big flash that was really a car’s tail light or someone could have just wanted some attention so a lie was told. The reliable sources may have also been tricked by light, or objects far to their eyes. They could have seen anything. It is said that people fear the unknown, so if something is unknown, it is most likely that a frightened person would jump to conclusions and call it whatever they seem fitting.

For the cases where large groups of people had seen someone mysterious sightings in the sky, it could have been an airplane, an air-balloon or even a phenomenon in the sky like the Northern lights. A phenomenon even closer than the Northern Territories are a lunar or solar eclipse, or meteorite passing (or “shooting star”). Test subject 3 proved another good point, there is no tangible evidence of these UFO’s, no documents, no pictures that aren’t blurry and no space craft.

Because of lack of evidence, it seems that my experiment has proved that UFO’s could not be real and therefore my hypotheses was proven to be wrong. The though of little green men in a flying spaceship seems awkward enough, but the fact that there is no proof of their existence questions what people will believe nowadays. Little green men flying over hundreds of light years to abduct and study people and leaving no evidence of even being in the same solar system is something that may not even need logic to show the insanity of.

What I still don’t know is the actual truth of area 51 or sightings that people swear on their life. Many have speculated what happened in New Mexico but the government keeps on changing stories and people become more radical in their beliefs over what really happened, for example people that worked at the airbase said that they saw an alien body. I want to know the full out truth just to put this behind us and stop the possible lies that are being spread around the globe thanks to TV, cinema, books, rumors and the internet.
Things that could have been added like other hypotheses or experiments would be an experiment to see if different music changes a plants growth, or different sodas change a plants growth and the hypotheses could be that either it does or it doesn’t change. Another experiment would be to see which detergent works best; the hypotheses could be that Dawn is the best. A last one could be an old myth that ducks don’t have an echo, I saw a show special on this and it was challenging but interesting, the hypotheses would be that ducks do make an echo but it is very low. There are many different possible projects with many different outcomes but these are the first ones that come to mind. I’m sure at one could be useful.
