My experiment

HYPOTHESIS:

I wanted to know if I could improve the health of my heart by doing more exercise.

EXPERIMENTAL METHOD :

I set up a weekly plan of exercise and testing, and started in the first week of school after Christmas break. I am still following it.

EXERCISE PLAN :

Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday

Basketball practice (1h); Test

Basketball game (1h) Crosscountry ski (2h) Irish dance (1.5 h) Basketball (30 min) Jog (25 min) Crosscountry ski (3h)

TEST:

I measured the health of my heart by recording my heart rate (using a heart rate monitor) before and during a test exercise. The test was to walk briskly up and down a flight of stairs with 14 steps and to repeat this 10 times consecutively.
