Project Title: The Solution Is In The Dilution !
Project Abstract: Purpose:The purpose of this experiment is to find out how sterile a doctor's office really is , and which diution of bleach will kill the bacteria growing in the office. Hypothesis:My hypothesis of the outcome of the project is that a doctor's office really isn't as clean as we think it is , or should be . I think that 50% bleach and 50% water will kill the bacteria that grow in the office .
I chose to do this project because one day my mother, who is a doctor, came home complaining about how bad the cleaners were cleaning and how dirty the office was. Cleanliness is of extreme importance in “health care” because doctors are always dealing with sick people and a lot of “germs”. I wanted to make sure that the cleaners were using the right concentration of bleach, which is the recommended cleaning agent in health care facilities.
Health care is very important to human survival and happiness. The world’s smallest living organisms, bacteria, sometimes can threaten human health.
Bacteria are everywhere. They are inside and outside the human body. Some bacteria make people sick, and in some cases can kill people. Bacteria are amazingly adaptable to varied environmental conditions. They are found in the bodies of all living organisms, on all parts of the Earth, and even in ocean depths.
