Furry Friends-Hamsters and Guinea Pigs

We – Ryan Pistorius and Kenji Pliszka – have been working on this project for a long time. We hope that our information will help you decide what you think is a better pet – a hamster or a guinea pig. We realize that many people might be looking for a smaller pet – fish, rodent, bird – so we made this site. If you’re getting a hamster or a guinea pig, you might want to check out our information so you can decide which one. I (Ryan) am also thinking of getting a small pet – a hamster or a guinea pig – and the research we did helped me decide which one I want to care for. If you want to find out which animal(s) we choose, go to our conclusion page and find out. In this study, we found information from one main website, but we also used some of our previous knowledge. After we each found information on the animal we were doing (Ryan=Hamster, Kenji=Guinea Pig) we added the research together and moved it onto the separate web pages. I guess I’ve introduced enough now, so you’re free to explore:

Happy learning!

-Our grade category is 4-6.

-We have 2 team members.

-Our subject area is biology.

-Our project type is descriptive.

-The language we use is English.

-Ryan Pistorius and Kenji Pliszka wanted to get a hamster or a guinea pig, but couldn’t decide which one to get. We researched to find out which animal would make a better pet. We then put it onto a web site, with a bibliography, facts, conclusion, and introduction.

-We used Macromedia Dreamweaver, Microsoft Word 2000, SWiSH, Hot Potatoes and Internet Explorer.

-We did not use any hard ware tools, except for a computer.

-The source of our idea was the Turtles and Tortoises project by Chris Li and Sam Shultz
