My project is called Dust Busters. I did my project to see which type of filter cleans the air the best and traps the most dust. For my project, I used: Two different types of filters, coloured chalk and black pepper, a small fish tank, 3 pieces of blank paper, scissors or box-cutter, a teaspoon, glue, a knife, hair-dryer, tape, a watch, and a pencil. I compared the filters by putting a piece of paper with glue on it at the bottom of the fish tank. I put a filter cut into the shape of the fish tank inside the fish tank and taped it to the sides. I used a hair-dryer to blow chalk-dust made earlier and black pepper to see which worked better. I found out that the filter with fewer holes, smaller holes, and a larger surface area worked better than a filter with larger holes, more holes, and a smaller surface area.
