Introduction
Our project topic is solar energy. We are looking forward to studying and researching this fantastic alternative energy. Our hypothesis is: we think that solar energy can be used to power electronic appliances while not polluting the envrionment.

According to National Resources Canada,"the use of solar energy displaces conventional energy; which results in a proportional decrease in greenhouse gas emissions." This quote supports the idea that solar energy is an environmentally safe way of creating electricity, which is what our project will try to demonstrate.

Our goal is to learn how solar energy works, and in which situations it can be used. We would also likke to create awareness of the fact that solar energy is a non-polluting alternative to fossil fuels, which are the main source of pollution today!

We decided to do this project on solar energy because the topic interested us. It interested us because it is a renewable power source that creates no harmful emissions, (after the initial environmental impact) and therefore its use could help the world become an environmentally safer and healthier place for all people.
