What Are Viruses?
What are viruses? Viruses are groups of micro-organisms that attach to, and then enter, your cells. When they are inside, they take control of the cell. When they exit your cells, they explode the cells. When they are in your cells, that is the only place where they can multiply. Micro-organisms of viruses are smaller than normal bacteria so they are only visible under an electron microscope but not under a light microscope. Viruses cause eleven illnesses in humans: the common cold, flu, smallpox, polio, ebola, and aids are just some of them. You can’t eliminate viruses by using antibiotics, but you can make them less severe.
