One plant, named Plant “A”, the plant that was held in the cold water, was put inside cold water, and the other plant, named Plant “B”, the plant that was held in the hot water, was put inside hot water. The two plants were put in the sunlight, in a room that had normal temperature, and regular soils were used for both plants.

Measurements conclude that the plant died because of the temperature ranges, the test variable was only the temperature of the water, and the control variable was only the amount of sunlight, the same soils was used, and the same temperature of the environments was the same for both plants.
