PROJECT DESCRIPTION

We know that we are all different and special in our own individual ways. We like learning about all the ways we are the same but yet different. Finger prints are a strategy the RCMP use to identify people. We wondered how they do this!  Would we be able to tell our own finger prints mixed in with our classmates? We went on a trip to visit our local RCMP officer to see if she could offer us some tips as we became Classroom Science Investigators!

Software Tools:

Microsoft FrontPage     Macromedia Fireworks

Hardware Tools:

Digital Camera

Source Idea for Our Project:

To enhance our unit of study involving similarities and differences we decided to challenge ourselves. We could already identify our own voices, printing even our own shoes but would we be able to identify our own finger prints? Our curiosity led us to our local RCMP detachment to find out if we could be CSI agents........Classroom Science Investigators!
