Observation
Experiment#1:Theballoon I put on the table
stayed the same, the one in the fridge
shrunk, and the one over the vent got
bigger. I then took the one from the fridge
and put it over the vent and it expanded.
this happened because heated air expands
and cool air contracts.
Experiment#2:When I taped the balloon to
the table and turned the hairdryer on,
the balloon rose up and the strings
straightened out and whenI turned it off
the balloon fell back down.The balloon
rose higher with the haidryer on hot
rather than cold.Warm air rises because it
is less dense than cool air.
