Types of Volcanoes
Shield volcanoes are flat volcanoes which are located in the islands of Hawaii. It has the shape of a straight cone and resembles to a shield.
Caldeira volcanoes is when the top of the volcano closes. The top of the Volcano is filled with rain water then turns into a lake.
Strato volcanoes have lairs of ash and lava which creates steep surface’s.
The Cumolu volcano has thick lava and one chimney. The lava hardens which creates a dome around the volcano. It becomes very steep.
A crack volcano is when a eruption happens in the forms of a crack in the earth. It can go on for kilometers.
