Statement of Purpose

In doing this topic, I expected to discover what premarin was and how it was made. Searching, I found something more interesting, including the welfare of innocent animals.

I chose this topic because I love animals, mainly horses. I once heard from a barn that I was staying at, that premarin was made from horses urine. At that time I didn’t know what premarin was. When I found out that premarin was a brand of birth control, I didn’t know what to think. Should I believe that people would actually take a horse’s urine and make a form of medication from it, or were they making it up? That’s when I started researching and couldn’t believe the text that I read and the pictures that I saw!
