Experiment
Hypothesis: My model will digest apples and other soft fruit.
My model works just like a normal digestive system except without the
power of muscles. First the food goes in the mouth and is chewed a bit. Then I
push it down the esophagus and into the stomach in which case you would think
that it just goes into the stomach acid. Wrong. There are actually two chambers
inside of the crocodile’s stomach, one for mushing up the food up and one for
dissolving it. In my model there is only one stomach chamber but it all happens
there. First I mush up the food with a wooden spoon imitating the first chamber,
and then I put in the lemon juice and vinegar for the acid and push it through
the intestines were it sits for a while and drops out as you know what.
Below is a description of how my model works with a number apliying to each part of the model.
1. Mouth, food goes in here on journey to stomach.
2. Esophagus, food comes down to the stomach.
3. Stomach, food arrives and is crushed by my big spoon and then digested a bit with lemon juice.
4. Intestines, partly digested food goes through here to the ummm.... you know where.
5. The patented "poop shoot", the sort of feces come out here were I remove the plug so it will flow forth into the bowl waiting before.
(please not it only eats soft fruit like apples, oranges, pears ect..)
