Summary of Project:

This presentation is a descriptive summary of scientific knowledge about the domestic cat. In this project you will learn about the evolutionary origin of the cat and its scientific classification. How the cat was valued in Egypt and was believed to be evil in the middle ages are topics included in the origin of the cat. Topics in the cat health section include general care issues, common health problems, how to choose a veterinarian as well as diseases and immunization. The section on behavior and training outlines the cat's body language, how to train a cat, and tips for behavior problems. In the last portion, genetics, breeds and reproduction are presented. This presentation contains only a small amount of what is available to the public about the domestic cat, and scientists have made it possible. Hopefully this presentation will make people want to keep reading and keep learning.
