Abstract

This project consisted of seeing if energy released during chemical reactions can be stored by stopping the chemical reaction. It was done with two chemicals, acetic acid and sodium bicarbonate undergoing synthesis. The two chemicals were restricted into space and the reaction was stopped. The results were not as expected, and many variables may have come into play.
