Conclusion

The objective of this project was to discover if tall people run faster than short people. My hypothesis was that short people would have a higher average time, but there would be more tall people in the Olympics. The results from the experiment rejected the part of my hypothesis where I had supposed that short people would have a higher average time. However, there are more tall people in the Olympics so my hypothesis was supported in this regard. The average result for the tall people was 8:44 and 8:51 for the short people. Some sources fo error include the weather, the participants warm ups, amount of sleep, nutrition and the general heath and fitness. If I was to continue this project, I would run more people to get more accurate results.
