Conclusion

Our hypothesis was that the rose would last the longest in fertilized water dueto its genetics. Our hypothesis was rejected by the ending results. Our data shows that daisies are the longest lasting flowers out of roses, daisies and tulips. In both ferttilized and non-fertilized water, all three types of flowers lasted the longest in fertilized water. All five times the results were the same. We would recomend the purchase of daisies over the purchases of roses or tulips due to the amount of time they last.

For a a future experiment we could try "Do flowers last longer in direct or indirect sunlight." For this experiment we could use different types of flowers and we would have to do this in the summer. We could also try "Would flowers last longer in artifical or natural light" and we could put the flowers in a room with light all day  for a certain amount of time and then the others outside. This experiment could be done at different times in the year.
