Introduction
Eat your broccoli, cauliflower and bok choy, They’re good for you. These vegetables, also know as cruciferous vegetables can actually kill germs and bacteria in your body that you don’t even know about. So give these vegetables another chance, look more carefully at your food and you might find yourself drawn into the depths of these fascinating vegetables.
My name is Alisha Dhanji, and I am in Grade 7, attending Simon Fraser Junior
High School in Calgary, Alberta. I decided to do a project dealing with the
effects of cruciferous vegetables on Cancer. Many people from my family have
died from cancer and my aunt just recently passed away due to cancer. Her
death affected me very much and therefore I decided to I chose this topic
because it is a topic that is relevant to my life. I wanted to be more educated
in general about cancer, how to prevent this tragic disease, and how to cure
it in the long run. After much research I chose to base my site on cruciferous
vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower and bok choy and their effect on
cancer.
