A komodo dragon.

Summary: A look into the amazing ways of the 'dragons of Indonesia'. Quiz at the end in analysis, and many interesting facts on these amazing reptiles.

Introduction:

In some of the most remote places in the world, the most amazing things happen. An example of this is the komodo dragons located in the Lesser Sunda Islands in Indonesia.  The Komodo dragons' ancestors have been revered for millennia. Komodo dragons are powerful reptiles that can move through trees, land, and water. They are the ultimate predator in their environment and are at the top of the food chain. They're very advanced in their hunting tactics and are absolutely amazing when stalking their prey.  A single bite can kill a deer, and they can easily outrun a human. No, they are not fairytale dragons but they're monstrous lizards that must've looked similar to the 'mythical creature' to the first European and Asian explorers. And obviously they don't breathe fire.  These reptiles ares also known as the Ora and Buaja Darat (land crocodile). Their Latin name is Varanus komodoensis.
