Eye Conditions
Eyes are all different, although the average is 2.5 cm in length. They all weigh about 7 grams. Even small differences such as the eye being too long or too short can cause numerous seeing problems for that person.
For example, there is a common problem called Myopia, when you eye is too long. What happens is that the image is formed before it has a chance to touch the membrane called the retina. Then the images are troubled. To solve myopia, you get concave contact lenses.
Another common problem is called Hyper myopia, when the eye is too short. The image forms itself after the retina. The imaged is troubled. To solve Hyper myopia, we use convex contact lenses.
